First off, let me state the obvious for the record, “I love my work.” Owning a marketing agency is downright fun. I love learning, watching, listening, processing and applying. I also love the people I employ to do their jobs. I love what they find while doing research, surfing the net, reading or working with clients. Our newest employee, Tyler, our online analyst, found a great video that I though worth sharing.
How many times in business and in life, do we get coerced into thinking there is only one-way to do something. That our options are either A or B. That we have to be relegated to thinking one way. Or the worst, that when labeled by others we don’t fight to change their opinion or how others perceive it!
This campaign not only shows the power of social media, it shows the power of thought. Thinking outside the proverbial box in a way that changed the course of history. The community of Troy has a thriving library now, thanks to Leo Burnett. Oh, you thought that the library could come up with a campaign like that?! Not on your life. That’s why I love my job…we get to have fun, change minds and flex our creative muscles, while our clients reap the rewards. Take away thought? Leave the creative thinking to the professionals…it’s too much fun for you to handle.
